Makkah is the place that captures the hearts of Muslims all over the world, where God's will was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, and it is now the location of the Holy Mosque and the sacred Kaabah. It was here that God gave victory to His Prophet and his fellow-believers when they triumphantly entered Makkah in the 8th year after Hijra (630 AD), ending the state of polytheism and exalting the name of Allah, the one and only God. Muslims all over the world turn their faces in prayer five times a day towards the Kaabah in Makkah and begin and end their pilgrimage with a "tawaaf" (circumambulating) of it.
This is an exceptional quality art piece made from real wood veneer, sourced only from sustainable sources. Each art piece has been laser crafted to highlight its intricate detail and has been meticulously hand finished to exceptionally high standards.

Al-Haram Mosque, Mecca Magnet made from ethically sourced real wood veneer.
Al Haram Mosque in Mecca holds the holiest shrine of Islam - the Kaabah. Mecca (also spelt Makkah) is the birthplace of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad. Al Haram Mosque (i.e., the Sacred mosque) has nineteen doors, of which four are on the east wall, three on the west wall, five on the north wall and seven on the south wall. It has seven minarets. Before the time of Hadrat 'Umar (radi-Allahu 'anhu), Al Haram Mosque did not have any walls. Around the Kaabah was a small square, which was surrounded by houses. The Caliph 'Umar had some of the houses demolished and had a one-meter-high wall built around the Kaabah, and thus Al Haram Mosque was built. It was restored various times. Today’s Al Haram Mosque, together with the eleventh restoration of the Kaabah Al-Muazzama, was built in 1045 hijri [1635 A.D.].
